Welcome
- We would like to welcome you and your child to Early Learners.

- Our programme is based upon the Curricular Guidance for Preschool Education:
- Personal, Social & Emotional Development – Co-operating, turn taking and sharing
- The Arts – painting, music, drama and dance
- Physical Development and Movement – large and fine motor skills, hand/eye co-ordination
- Language Development – speaking, listening, reading/writing
- Early Mathematical Experiences – numbers, size, shapes, sorting
- The World Around Us – observing, understanding the environment
Our Aims
- As a pre-school setting, we prioritise learning through play.
- Play is key for a child’s development as they build up their confidence by exploring the environment around them, develop independent problem-solving skills and establish positive relationships with others.
- At Early Learners, we believe play should be enjoyable, engaging and intrinsically motivating which creates opportunities for spontaneous learning, creative thinking and risk-taking. Therefore, our programme has been planned to incorporate various aspects of play-based learning. This takes into account the holistic development of the child while allowing freedom to explore the world around them.
