The children had a special visitor today from Belfast City Council – Cathal and Captain Cleanup!
Cathal read us the story of Sammy Squirrel and we talked about the importance of disposing of our rubbish in the bin to keep our streets clean and to protect little animals like Sammy. The children have an amazing understanding of anti-littering messages and are able to recall these within nursery and at home.
Captain Cleanup flew by to check that the children knew what to do with their litter. Our children at Early Learners are all Cleanup heroes!
