Easter Egg Hunt at Early Learners

Searching and discovering are essential for development in early years

The children had lots of fun and excitement along the walk to the garden. They used their senses to listen to their surroundings; the birds in the trees, the sounds of passing vehicles, lawnmowers. The smell of recently blossomed flowers was a great talking point and the children were able to talk about what their favourites were and make predictions to where the smells were coming from.

On arriving at the garden, we spotted the Easter Bunny who had been hard at work hiding some treats. The children were able to search and help each other find their own treats. What fun!!

Miss Jane and the Easter Bunny read Easter stories and then we had our snack, yummy buttery toast and some hot chocolate.

Tea parties with the Easter Bunny are the best!
